These Terms & Conditions govern use of starauto.shop and participation in the optional Star Auto Service text-messaging program. By using the website, a visitor agrees to these terms. Automotive repairs and other shop services are also governed by the applicable estimate, authorization, repair order, invoice, warranty terms, and consumer-protection law.
1. About Star Auto Service
The website and messaging program are operated by STAR AUTO SERVICE LTD., located at 9 Airport Road NW, Edmonton, Alberta.
2. Website information and service requests
Website content is provided for general information. A website form, booking request, or message does not by itself confirm an appointment, final price, diagnosis, completion date, or parts availability. Star Auto will confirm material service details separately. Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and vehicle information.
3. Vehicle service documents
A written estimate, repair authorization, repair order, invoice, or warranty document may contain additional terms specific to a vehicle or repair. If those documents conflict with general website information, the applicable service document controls to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. SMS program terms
Customers who actively opt in may receive informational and transactional text messages from Star Auto Service concerning appointments, estimates and authorization requests, repair progress, questions about the vehicle, delays, payment, vehicle-ready notices, pickup, and service follow-up.
Opt-in is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase or service.
The SMS checkbox is not selected in advance.
Message frequency varies according to the customer's service and communication activity.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Delivery is subject to mobile-carrier availability and is not guaranteed.
After a STOP request, Star Auto may send one message confirming the opt-out. A customer who later wants text messages must provide new consent. Consent and mobile information are handled according to our Privacy Policy and SMS Opt-In Policy.
5. Acceptable website use
Visitors must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, submit false or unlawful information, attempt unauthorized access, or use website content in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, text, branding, graphics, and original content are owned by or licensed to Star Auto Service and may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without permission.
